The Annual Austin Restaurant Week is coming up..For those, who like me do not live in Austin and therefore do not know anything about it, let me explain. During Austin Restaurant Week, many restaurants (including the top ones) offer special discounted food courses with proceeds going to charity. Every Austin Restaurant Week meal donates $2 directly to Meals on Wheels and other such chariites, thereby helping to create a meal for a recipient of the program. Truly innovative & inspiring! Considering that people actually get to eat good food, is it any wonder that the venture manages to raise thousands of dollars every year.
